News settings control feed behavior, matched tickers, body text size, quick-trade sizes, source importance, muted sources, and source colors.

## Main settings

News trading presets are used by the quick-trade menu documented in [News](/features/crypto-news-feed-for-trading.md) and [Terminal News](/terminal-sections/news.md).

## Appearance

Use Body Font Size to make the main text of news and social items smaller or larger relative to the default size. The slider ranges from -50% to +50%, with Default in the center.

This only changes the primary item body. Quotes, replies, retweets, titles, tickers, buttons, and media labels keep their normal size.

## Important sources

Important sources are websites or social accounts you have marked as important. Future items from these sources can be surfaced more prominently in the Important feed.

Use this list to remove sources that became too noisy or keep sources you consistently trust.

## Muted sources

Muted sources do not appear in your normal news workflow. Use muting for accounts that are repetitive, irrelevant to your markets, or too noisy during active trading.

You can unmute a source here when you want it back in the feed.

## Colorized sources

Colorized sources help you recognize important accounts or websites quickly in the feed. Use color for sources where speed matters, such as exchange listing accounts, major protocols, macro accounts, or security feeds.

From this section you can update or remove existing colors.
