News feed block of terminal

The Terminal News block brings market-moving headlines into the same workspace where you chart and trade.

Click a matched market from a news item to select it in Terminal, bring the chart into focus, and prepare the trade form for that market.

## Quick trades

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1571380119-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfwUo1o7rINODRyyILQE1%2Fuploads%2F05Sf5aOtjJeipp4wHPY3%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=cee800de-23e5-47c4-8d2b-16ebdf534dec" alt="Terminal news quick-trade buttons for opening LONG or SHORT actions."><figcaption><p>Terminal news quick-trade buttons for opening LONG or SHORT actions.</p></figcaption></figure></div>

LONG and SHORT buttons let you open the same quick-trade menu documented in the full [News](/features/crypto-news-feed-for-trading.md) tab. You can choose Market, Limit ALO, Chase, TWAP 5m, or Burst with preset sizes from [News settings](/settings/news.md).

Quick trades use the News trading account selected for the matched exchange in [News settings](/settings/news.md). This can differ from Terminal's active account, so check the account label in the menu before submitting.

Use quick trades only after checking the matched market and direction. For full control over sizing, TP / SL, reduce-only, margin, and order type settings, use the [Trade form](/terminal-sections/trade-form.md).

## Feed filters

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1571380119-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfwUo1o7rINODRyyILQE1%2Fuploads%2Fb916lSNSg0rar1QqIERV%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=065c986a-82c3-4398-a506-2ce06c05328e" alt="Terminal news feed filters for choosing visible news categories."><figcaption><p>Terminal news feed filters for choosing visible news categories.</p></figcaption></figure></div>

Use the top-right filters to choose which feeds appear inside Terminal. These correspond to the Important, Websites, and Socials feeds explained in [News](/features/crypto-news-feed-for-trading.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.proliquid.xyz/terminal-sections/news.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
